Texas Trust Credit Union recently demonstrated its commitment to the community by partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that "no kid sleeps on the floor." Over 340 Texas Trust employees gathered for an all-hands volunteer event, building 50 hand-made beds for children in need in the Fort Worth area. The initiative not only provided essential resources for local families but also fostered camaraderie among employees, marking the first large-scale rally since the pandemic.

"We could not do what we do without partnerships like Texas Trust," said a representative from SHP. The organization relies on donations and collaborations with businesses, churches, and individuals to fulfill its mission. Texas Trust's contributions included funding for the materials and bedding required for the project, making a significant impact on the lives of local children.

For Texas Trust, giving back is more than just a corporate responsibility—it’s a core value. "One of the things we really value is giving back to our communities and investing in the communities we serve," shared a member of the leadership team. The bed-building event exemplified this ethos, allowing employees to directly contribute to improving the lives of others. "It's a tangible example of us doing something—putting our hands on it and having something to show for it at the end of the day," they added.

The event underscored Texas Trust’s dedication to making a real difference where it operates. "It’s not just where we work; it’s where we’re giving back and helping those less fortunate in our community," emphasized another participant.

By partnering with impactful organizations like SHP, Texas Trust continues to build brighter futures—not only through financial services but also through meaningful community engagement.
